| - I purchased a last minute cocktail dress from this store. I originally wanted the dress in black, but they were out of my size, so I opted for a patterned print... Not my style, but the fit was excellent!
The next day my date cancelled on the party and I no longer needed the cocktail dress. Since I didn't like the print that much I decided I'd return it and order the black one online. Every woman needs the perfect little black dress!
Fast forward to the weekend. I went to Macy's to return the dress. As I approach the counter the sales woman transforms... I gave her the dress, still in the bag that the previous saleswoman put it in when I purchased it, never taken out of the hangers bag... I mean still knotted... She takes the dress out, lays it on the counter and starts scratching the arm holes. I'm confused at what she's doing because I don't see anything to scratch. She looks at me and states, "There is some deodorant on this dress!" What? I asked her what she was implying! She said again, "There is some deodorant on this dress!" I said, "Are you kidding?" "Every single dress in here has deodorant on it!" "Every tag is on this dress! It has not been removed from the bag! How dare you accuse me of trying to rip you off!" She refunded my money, but it was an argument with me having to defend myself. This is bullshit! I have never been treated so disrespectful from a department store, any store, ever. I'm so shocked!
