Crooks! Water heater failed so I called Home Warranty as it was "covered". Yes, the tank and installation was covered but here is the rip off that followed. After a $85.00 service call I was told they could replace the tank but numerous parts were required. Get an idea about this company by looking at the following charges. Drip pan...$90.00 (17.00 at Lowes), T - P modification ( BS flag on this one) $125.00, Flex Line $125.00 (30.00 at Home Depot), Vent modification $125.00 (they used my vent and modified it with a single piece of sheet metal and a T fitting). Keep in mind that my warranty company paid for labor. These guys just pad their pockets with ridiculous "required" item prices. I paid a total of $85.00 for the initial service call plus $470.00. A new water heater installed from lowes would be about 500.00 for the tank, another 50.00 in parts, plus 250.00 labor. I still came out ahead but that doesn't make this right. They know that you are already into this and gamble that you will continue using them to get the water on. Since I am out of town and I already started the warranty process I continued reluctantly. It's just like the Hospital charging 25.00 for a single aspirin. No way in hell this company has a legitimate positive review when it comes to replacing water heaters. Think about how much money they made in one hour of work.....they charged my Home Warranty probably 250.00 for labor plus about 400.00 of my money. What service company can make 650/ hour? Scam. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
