| - Wow! Awesome pancakes! I ordered the Snickers Flapjack, which was one HUGE, 1-inch thick pancake filled with Snickers bites. Mmm...chocolatey, peanut buttery, candy heaven. The pancake was the size of a medium pizza! It could have fed two people.
I also tasted my bf's HH Famous Meatloaf Hash with crispy potatoes, two eggs, a biscuit, and a slice of watermelon. This dish backs up Hash House a go go self-proclaimed "Twisted Farm Food" nickname. The meatloaf cubes mixed with roasted red peppers, spinach, and smoked mozzarella was an interesting and unique combination of ingredients. When I think of hash, corn beef hash usually comes to mind, but meatloaf hash?! It was good stuff. The meatloaf cubes may be off putting as it looks pre-made and spam-like, but they tasted soft and meaty as expected.
Wait times vary, but I was there on a Friday morning before noon and waited about 20 minutes for a table. For a quick bite, try sitting at the bar. They also had a patio section, but it was too hot to sit outside even with the misters.
Come hungry for Claim Jumper sized portions!
Next to try: Sage fried chicken with a bacon waffle tower! I also want to check out the San Diego location.
