| - First visit there for a haircut went great. The instructor knew how to achieve the haircut I asked for. Figured, what the heck, let's try getting my hair colored! Went in there with my virgin hair for what I later found as a simple ombre, four hours later, came out with ashy green hair and lopsided demarcation line in my hair. Not the students' fault, they followed the instructors conflicting directions to the best they can. Booked next night for a correction appointment. Fine, give them a chance to correct the mistake.
Second night, another student, great girl who also followed the instructors directions. Bleached some more, new toner. Three hours passed. Came out the same, still demarcation line, still look like I let my roots grew out for a year. The lead instructor came out to help. Another hour and half later. Fix the color somehow... I look like my yorkies with black and brown hair mix. Already 10:30 pm. Let's call it a night. Told the student it's fine. Gave her a big tip for wasting four hours of her life. Left.
Third day I am calling professional salons around my house begging for an appointment to correct the still super obvious demarcation line. Finally found someone willing to squeeze me in as her last appointment. She took a look at my hair and said "no worries, it's an easy fix." Just like that, one hour later, I walked out with natural looking ombre hair. She said I should go in again for her to fix my color some more and condition it as my hair is now tortured and processed three days straight.
Definitely learned my lesson. Simple haircut, no problem. Hair color, let's leave it to the professionals!
