  • I will never ever rent a vehicle from this company again and I encourage everyone to do so. I refueled the vehicle prior to returning to the airport at a nearby gas station. I topped it off just a bit more than usual since the airport is about 2 miles away. Upon return of the vehicle, I was asked to provide a gas receipt. I've rent regularly with National and ERAC and I've never been asked that. The representative charged me $13.86 for being unable to provide a "gas receipt." I was renting a tiny Toyota and it cost me less than $13 to fill it up! I went to the rental counter to ask about the charge since it was neither stated in the rental contract nor disclosed when I picked up the vehicle. The counter employee pointed to a small paragraph on the counter and said here's nothing she can do. I can understand if I return the vehicle without enough gas, but the needle was clearly about the "F." I really don't think I can fill it any more without spilling but it doesn't matter, I couldn't prove it with a receipt. Oh well, they lost a monthly business traveler and all his colleagues.
