  • I met Dr. Robinson when I was 20 years old at my job. He discovered while at my place of business that I did not have health care. I was having an asthma attack. He could not believe I did not have an inhaler. He took the time to comfort and treat me. He also promised to see me and treat me out of pocket at the time till I got insurance. He charged me a fee each time I saw him that was fair and he has taken supburb care of me ever since. I have had insurance for a long time now and still see him. He has seen me thru so many medical problems and I truly believe he cares about his patients. When I came to him after surviving a rape he treated me personally bc I could not stand the thought of new ppl coming into contact with me. He was professional but you could tell he was upset for me having to have gone through such a horrible thing. Yes, he speaks bluntly. Yes, he can be rushed. I think it is bc he has a lot of patients and he works very hard. Since I kind of know him a bit outside of his profession, I can see a hard driven person who has worked darn hard to be where he is. He is proud of his achievements as he has every right to be. What you see is what you get with Dr. Robinson. He is honest, direct, hard working, caring and a smart guy. I would trust my life in his hands. I have been his patient for around 15 years and am just astonished ppl don't see that he is a great doctor. I can honestly say that I believe he is always invested in the care of his patients. If you want someone to hold your hand and coddle you he may not be your guy. But, if you want a professional who does his job well... Then he is perfect. When you go to see a doctor, you should have a list of what needs to be discussed and be frank. You are the customer, but his time is valuable too. So, of he is a straight shooter like Dr. Robinson is, expect to deal with the issues you went to see him for.
