This place is clearly going for an upscale, trendy vibe: Scandinavian-looking furniture and lighting, throwback pop art on the walls, clubby music playing just loud enough that you need to raise your voice a little. Interestingly, the patrons were less 'urbane hipster' as you might expect and more 'college hangover crowd'...lots of Packer/Badger apparel-clad bro-dudes talking loudly. The atmosphere was not appealing for Sunday brunch, but I toughed it out. I had a sausage breakfast sandwich with breakfast potatoes and donut balls for dessert. The food was pretty good overall, though I'm not convinced the cheese sauce on the potatoes was anything more than generic Cheez Whiz. With a soda my total was $18.44, which is about what you'd expect at this type of place, though it feels a bit high for the amount and quality of food. My server was fine. The overall experience was slightly mixed, not too bad but nothing I expect to do again any time soon, or ever really. I can say it's easily my least favorite of the several Foodfight restaurants I've experienced.
