  • Green Frog Daycare has been a horrible experience for my 3 year old daughter. My daughter is a very active child and full of personality. It seems that if your child does not fit the "Green Frog mold" the director's Jill and Rae will make it their personal mission to make their experience difficult. The "Green Frog mold" is a child who is quiet, reserve, and totally compliant. If your child does not demonstrate these behaviors 100% of the time, Jill will let you know that your child has "overstayed their welcome." The director Jill is one of the most disrespectful people I have ever met. She once yelled at my younger brother while picking up my daughter for having sand on his shoes. She threw a fit and told him that he was no longer allowed to walk inside the building. He needed to remain at the front door until they were able to get my daughter ready. Jill has even locked parents out of the building during one of her tantrums. The other director Rae has a very scary mean-streak. She is totally fine one second and the next she is snarling and enraged. My daughter had a therapist come and observe her and Green Frog never notified me that anyone had come. When I asked Rae to please inform me in the future if anyone comes to observe my daughter she screamed at me that, "THERE WILL BE NO NEXT TIME!" and proceeded to go on a tirade, which even frightened my little girl. If you are considering enrolling your child at Green Frog I strongly urge you to reconsider. These people are not fit to take care of children. The place opened in the late 40's or early 50's and they still treat children as if it is back then. Please do not make the same mistake that me and my family made by trusting Green Frog. If I could give a lower rating than one star I would. I am seriously concerned about the children that go there and what they are exposed to. Even my daughter's counseling company (GoodFit) expressed serious concern over Green Frog's tactics. They recommended other places that would be a much better environment for her.
