| - This. Place. Rocks. I have to say that this is the best Italian I have had in a very long time. Went with two colleagues, and we decided to make it a self styled sampler. Just came back, had to write the review.
We ordered the cannelloni filled with meat, baked with marinara and béchamel sauce (we asked, meat meant beef, sausage and perhaps veal, depended on the day), tortellini filled with cheese in a cream sauce with peas, prosciutto and toasted walnuts, chicken saltimbocca topped with prosciutto and mozzarella in a white wine and sage reduction with vegetable side.
All really were just amazing. The cannelloni was not super rich, great combination of sauce, meat, pasta. Tortellini was just yummy, sauce was right thickness, not too thick, not too runny, and chicken was cooked just right, very think scallopini style, great sauce, again the viscosity of the sauce was perfect.
Have to say also that the drink I ordered was one of the best brandy manhattan, straight up, two cherries, that i have had in some time.
Service was just right, and really liked that the chef/owner (not sure what her real deal was) came out to ask about the dishes. Server was super nice, right amount of attentive.
Feeling sated and happy, reviews that sent me here were well deserved!
