If a "zero" star existed as an option, i would of chose it. my dissatisfaction began before i even start utilizing the facility. i signed up for a membership and decided within the 3-day period to cancel. when i called the club to do so, i was told several times that i needed to talk to the clubs manager named ALVIN.
i attempted to contact him several times within cancellation period with no success. on the final day of cancellation another employee told me that i didn't need to contact ALVIN because it was within the grace period and that all i needed to do was to come in the club and sign a document, this left me happy and frustrated because i was told something totally different over the past two days. although i only needed to come in and sign a form i was not able to get it done within a reasonable time because i was out of town, so i figured i'd just call the club to see if i could do the paperwork on monday since i didn't live in the area and i was given incorrect info over the past two days, the employee that i spoke with stated that they'd call ALVIN to see if that's ok since it was already late in the evening and i didn't live near by.
once she called me back, she stated that ALVIN said that i needed to come in that evening and do the paperwork or else i'd be charged for a full membership. this response didn't sit well with me especially since it wasn't my fault that his employee gave me incorrect info for two days. he could of made an exception so i wouldn't have to come out there late in the evening from deep in mesa to do this paperwork. this let me know that it's not about the customer and he didn't care about his customer and that he'd rather inconvenience me for his employees mistake. bottom line is ALVIN is a jerk!
