  • My car was hit in a parking lot and had severe front end damage. I had been a Geico customer for several years and never had a claim. I called Geico after the damage and started a claim. Everything was smooth until I picked up my car from AZ Collision Specialists. I drove out of the shop and my car was making a grinding noise. It sounded like metal grinding, which it never made before accident. I called the shop 2 minutes after picking up my car and they told me to bring it back in. They inspected the sound and told me my motor mounts needed to be replaced. My car never had this problem before me I attributed it to the accident. They said they needed to send to Audi to have a diagnostic to see if it was normal wear and tear or caused by the accident. They also told me I would be responsible for the diagnostic fee of 165.00. I agreed because I was confident it would be due to the accident, since it never made this sound before. They came back and said it was due to normal wear and tear. Unbelievable! Insurance wouldn't cover and it never had this problem before! I ended up paying my $500.00 deductible, $165.00 diagnostic fee and $800.00+ auto fee to get new motor mounts! Geico sucks!
