I've been to this location a number of times as they have a good selection of items. The sales folks are generally friendly although I noticed that some seem more knowledgeable than others.
The prices are listed on the items and they do this "give us a deposit and lock in the price". It's good for a number of months (think it's 6) and if you decide you don't want you can cancel. I can see how that could come in handy.
This is definitely a price is negotiable place which makes me think my buddy whose has that expert haggling wife gets a better deal than I do.
One thing interesting is that they show you the price that includes rebates. Then they handle the rebates for you. Be prepared to call Spencer's on numerous occasions if you actually want the rebate. One rebate showed up so late it was expired. 9 months later still waiting.
