So Absolute Dental told me to get a mouthguard to protect my mouth and said that the cost would be covered 90% by my insurance. Well, little did I know that this would cause the longest ongoing issue I've ever had with a dentist. NOW I know why people hate going to the dentist.
After my insurance rejected their claim, I was forwarded the remaining balance by Absolute Dental. I called Absolute Dental and the office manager (name starts with a C) said that she would resolve this problem. I was told I would be refunded my difference and we would proceed given the exorbitant cost increase. Gratefully, I was then mailed a bill showing the cost removed. After reviewing my bank statements, the original 10% was never refunded. I called and they have yet to return a phone call. In fact, I call the main line and they transferred me to their voicemail at this location. The voicemail wasn't set up. GREAT. I'm "sure" the operator had no idea this was the case.
Fast forward another month and I have these costs back on my bill and have yet to refunded my original 10%. This is the most incredible experience I've ever encountered with any business, and I'm completely frustrated. They represent a complete lack of customer service, and I hope others understand these ridiculous tactics in trying to strong-arm their clientele. Patient, be warned.
