Wife and I went here as part of the City Pass. We arrived 5 minutes after it opened, which I would recommend to avoid crowds. My personal recommendation is to go directly to a tower (after you get your audio device--which is a real good plus) because of the crowds going up and down the narrow stairways. After you get your nice pics of Toronto from one of the towers, then go to the theater to learn about the history of Casa Loma and the man who founded it. I enjoyed all of the memorabilia from the different wars. it is also interesting to see the lavishness of the rich and famous from the early 20th century.....in the end, I would take my 21st century living conditions over this castle any day of the week. Finally, the gardens are really nice and well-kept.
