| - I had purchased a Groupon for 2 hours of bowling and 2 pairs of shoe rentals. So I decided to go today , it is labor day weekend and expected it to be busy which it was so we were going to have to wait for a open lane , no problem . We decided to hit the bar and play a game of pool . At the pool table there is a sign it said balls $5 for a hour , there is also a coin slot for a $1 a game . Only had plans on playing one game since we were told that the lane would be available in 20 minutes . I put my quarters in hit the button and nothing happened. I decided to ask the bartender about getting the game going or my money back. The bartender who's name is Brittany said there is a sign on the table that states to ask the bartender for the balls. I explained no sign there , she again stated there was in a very dismissive and I don't have time for this tone. I asked her to go look , she went over and look and said well it's missing and then implied that I had taken it off the table . At this point I was over it , so just asked if I could get my $1 back . Now I did this not because I need the $1 but because it's the principal of the fact of how I was dismissed and accused. She said no, So I then said I will get my money back can you get a manager please. She left and found a manager who she spoke to about the issue , the manager came up to me and I explained my side of the story . She then again checked the pool table to see if there was the sign , she said there is a sign normally here stating to ask the bartender for the balls. I said you can see there is not and at this point she just opened the table and got my money back. I spoke with her about Brittany's attitude and how she has no customer service skills at all and was defensive and aggressive and should not be helping customers at all. She assured me she would speak to her. I then asked Brittany at the bar still only one there , if we could get two iced teas. So we got two large iced teas in Styrofoam cups , I asked her if I could have some sweetener and she informed to walk around the front and get it myself. She then told me it was $8.13 for two iced teas. I was shocked, then realized that no where on the menus or anywhere in sight were there prices listed for anything. I paid the bill , took a drink and realized I just been served tea that was old and bitter. So at this point my blood is boing and I am so over this place. We headed up front went to speak with the manager but she was busy , so spoke with a young man behind the counter about poor service at the bar and the prices not being listed anywhere. He advised me that Brittany is the actual snack bar and bar manager and all issues need to go through her. I snorted told him to have a great day and I meant it since he was a good and nice kid and said my good bye . I will never return to this location , and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of this locations poor service , and attitude . Remember this Brittany and the Managers at the Brunswick lanes , one pissed off customer equals a lot of missed business people talk more about their bad experience's than their good ones with companies. How does that saying go , you catch more flies with honey than piss and vinegar ..yes oh yes that is how it goes.
