  • Who LOVES chocolate?!?!?!?!?! ME ME ME ME!!! We were wandering around the city and decided to hit up the Distillery District...it was cool to walk around, visit the shops and see the architectural history of the area (some of the best preserved Victorian Industrial Architecture in N America #geekingout). As we made our way around buildings and down streets, we found out way into Soma. Such an amazing shop and space! They have plenty of homemade delights (boxes of chocolates obvi, items dipped in chocolate, etc)...but what we found curious was chocolate shots. Yeah, literally shots of chocolate...shot glass and all! We landed on the spicy chocolate shot...a couple Loonies and 2 minutes later...BOOM, a shot of liquid chocolate appears! In a few seconds, down the hatch goes a luscious flow of chocolate glory. Oh and dang it had a kick to it! It was more of an after shock of spice...tastes like good ole chocolate up until after it goes down the pipe. It's not a numb your face spicy...but a slow warm up. #awesome Don't forget to stop here as you walk around this historic site :-)
