| - It was hard for me to give this show more than three stars. I thought the concept was awesome. Being born and raised in Vegas, I like the throwback feel of old Vegas. I'll start with the things I didn't like at this show.
First of all, the head show girl. There was something about her that I didn't feel hit the spot. She didn't fit the part of the girl that every guy is dying for part. I thought there were a few other girls in the show that could have done a better job and would have fit her part better.
Next, it was the Elvis. Probably the worst Elvis impression I've ever seen. The guy was an okay singer, but he couldn't even dress a little like Elvis? Or they couldn't find a singer who was actually a decent singer/Elvis impressionist?? The guy looked like a combo of Oscar from the office and monk the detective. Didn't realize he was doing Elvis till the lights showed ELVIS behind him.
Then the Wayne Newton?? The guy sounded nothing like Wayne newton. I thought it was a rough impression of Mr.Las Vegas and they could've found a much better singer as well. These singers made me feel like I was back in high school watching my peers put on a show.
I thought the black guy and all three women singers were fantastic. They stole the show, as far as singing goes. The magic was okay, I got tired of the guy only popping out birds. Also, if you sit on his left shoulder side, you can see him slip the parrot from behind one of his assistants to his hand for his next trick. The two hand balancers were amazing! They shocked me with their abilities. The girl who flipped and twirled on the beam held by two guys was my favorite part of the show. I felt their act should be at a higher class, more expensive, better show to really show off their talents. It was so amazing compared to the rest of the show, it just felt out of place in that show.
In the end, I'd say go somewhere else for your next show. this show will you leave you wanting a bit more.
