  • Want to know why all the 1 star reviews are filtered? Because these reviews speak the truth about this company, and the owners are seemingly happy to not give two you-know-whats about customer service. No offense, but any place on Yelp should never have 5 stars, because there is always room for improvement, but regardless. I bid on their online site, and won the item I bid on. I got the email with the results and had to pick up the item within 24 hours. I don't know about you, but to me this seems extremely ridiculous. I ended up being charged an extra $7 for apparent "storage" of a small bag about the size of a tennis ball. Such idiocy. I'm sorry, but you can't expect people to pick things up before 5pm less than 24 hours after the auction ends, especially if they have work! What are people supposed to do if they work 8-5? Absolute idiocy. I can't believe this place makes money. Also, the customer service was extremely poor. When I went to pick up my item, the owner was literally yelling at her daughter while her daughter--who was helping me--made absolutely NO eye contact with me nor made any effort to be friendly whatsoever. It was really embarrassing to see an adult child screamed at in front of her peers and co-workers. When I was looking at my debit card statement later on, I saw that I was charged $17 instead of $10, which was the amount on the receipt I had signed. When I called to inquire, I was essentially told that I was wrong, that I didn't know what I was talking about, as well as the fact that it took her 10 minutes to figure out what my name was let alone find my information. I'm sorry, but this stuff is basic. I have expectations. They're low, but they're expectations! Bottom line: do not spend your money here, ever. I really do not give these kinds of scathing reviews often (as you can see from my other reviews), so you can take this warning to heart.
