| - My friend and I stopped here for brunch and it was really good! It was a Saturday, late morning, and my first thought when walking in was, "Call ahead of time for a reservation." The place was incredibly packed and they don't have a ton of room inside to wait for a table to open up, but the wait time was around 40-50 minutes at 10am. So just make a mental note of that being the number one thing to do when coming here
My second recommendation would be to not sit outside. My pregnant friend was getting rather hungry so we agreed to be seated outside. Alas, when you live in Arizona and the sun is the devil himself at times, that was not such a good idea. Normally they have misters and shade but our little spot was out of reach for both, thus naturally we were quite sweaty by the end of the meal. Not worth it. Just call ahead for an inside spot.
Overall, the food was good! We split an omelette and the O.M.G. french toast, with the french toast living up to its fame for sure. Omelette was good also, I wish they would allow more toppings though (you can pick three, the rest are about $.75 extra to $1.50). My one biggest complaint has to be how much everything is on the side. Meals themselves are decently priced, around $9-$12, but to get something like pico de gallo (just a little cup) is $.75 and orange juice for one glass was $3, so we found that to be a bit too much. Waitress and hosts were friendly, however; the store in the front is so jam packed it gave a very chaotic feel to the front of the house which is the other thing I wasn't impressed with. It took a while just for us to be on the waiting list.
So, final thoughts on Snooze: We will be returning. Mostly because the french toast was delicious. Omelette was tasty but there is only so much you can do to one, and it wasn't anything to write home about. If you are coming here get something exciting because if the rest of their pancake and waffle dishes are like the O.M.G. one, you won't be disappointed. Not bad for an Instagram restaurant!
