This restaurant in near the entrance to the Crystals shopping area initially has the feel of an upbeat casino sports bar. However, past the entrance and once settled, it reveal itself as a fairly excellent restaurant.
I've been here twice with the same group of friends. Once for dinner and once to simply enjoy apps and sangria and watch soccer. Both times, the service has been superb. Really above and beyond helpful and friendly. On the second visit, the waiting staff didn't rush us even though we were all done eating and drinking but still watching the game. Water glasses weren't just kept filled; the servers came around to fill my sangria glass for me.
A safe bet for food choice is either the chef's special or one of the pizzas. I've tried all the pizzas now and they are all excellent and easy to share. The sides such as the cauliflower and broccolini are surprisingly good.
There is a larger group room and an upscale wine list as well. One of the features I always like is being able to see into the kitchen. I don't know why, but that transparency makes me a little more at ease when I dine. If you can wrangle an area on the balcony section, it can also be a nice place to people watch.
The bathroom situation is a little weird but not enough to get upset about. Men and women are in the same basic room will individual marked water closets.
