I tried Messina in Melbourne and I've been in love ever since. I made it one of my goals to visit this place on a trip to Vegas. The store itself has a very hip vibe with dim interior lighting. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by an actual Australian guy when entering. Either that or they train their workers really well to speak in an Australian accent. They have so many creative flavors that change weekly so I can't recommend one since it's almost always different. I say, try em all! I had the fig flavored gelato and it was absolutely fantastic with its mild sweetness. I would also like to note that a scoop of ice cream cost me like $4 which was surprisingly cheap for the quality of gelato I was getting.
Gelato Messina is a hidden gem in the outskirts of Vegas and it's a crime that not many people know about them. I honestly think it's one of the best dessert places I've ever had. Too many desserts nowadays are all about presentation and how nice it looks in Instagram and they forget about the most important part of a dessert : Flavor. Messina completely nails the flavor aspect of dessert with their inventive combinations. As a bonus a lot of their stuff is presented nicely too. I will go here every time I'm in Vegas and you should too.
