Went here to get a coffee rush to tide me by for the walking I was going to do around Main Street. There was a big sign that said "fair trade organic coffee" and a small blurb that said "iced cappuccino" so I decided to try it.
Coming in there was an experience already. It's like most coffee shops, but unlike it as well. There's a lot of SFW eye-candy in the shop that give it a quaint atmosphere.
I ordered an iced cappuccino and I requested it to be made less sweet. The barista explained how they used espresso and cut it with milk rather than using some mix. All I can say is that it is one of the best iced cappuccinos I ever had.
It felt clean on the mouth because it didn't have too much sugar, but none of the after coffee stickiness. Then there was a weird flavor that made it mocha-y. The barista tells me it's the secret ingredient they add into the cappuccino which includes chocolate. I think that extra bit pushes the experience over the edge for me to make it less standard fare.
Considering it is espresso, it does not burn my throat like Starbucks coffee either. They also have free WiFi. We didn't try the cakes and ice cream because we just came from Maid's Cafe.
They just need a pretty glass for the iced cappuccino rather than the paper cup though.
Lesson learned... on my next trek to Main Street, this will be the last break point I will have before leaving the area. The atmosphere is too relaxing here that i regretted having this as my second stop.
