  • It's seriously been so long since I've had Korean BBQ (bc of Charlotte's lack of one) that I can't compare to anywhere else besides what I make at home. For $30/person, it's totally worth it to avoid having to purchase and prep the variety of meats and veggies/banchan from "the Asian store" to make a proper KBBQ myself. Definitely cheaper to make at home but is it worth the effort and buying in bulk quantities for a date night for two? No. Maybe for 5 or more. Go if you even remotely like Asian flavor profiles or meat. It's worth it to support restaurants that are stepping out and doing something different than overpriced tacos or American fare. I'm tired of being bored with food options. Or just come to my house the next time we do KBBQ.
