I went to city wide for a few years. The staff is fantastic, so friendly. The vets are nice and knowledgeable. I stopped going for two reasons 1. I moved and it was about a 20 minute drive to get there. 2. The lack of new equipment.
We had gotten a new kitten, I took her there for all her shots. I talked to my Vet there about spaying and front declaw. My first cat (whom I still have) I had her front declaw with a laser and I was just amazed at how quick her healing was and how she didn't seem to be bothered by the surgery. I wanted the same treatment for my 2nd cat - unfortunately they don't do the laser removal. The vet explained the difference and was honest about the benefits to laser removal but tried to assure me without the laser my cat was in good hands. I'm sure she would have been but I just didn't feel comfortable with the surgical knife removal.
I went on a hunt to find a Vet that did laser and was closer. I found one and was very please with the operation. I miss the staff at City-wide, they were good to me and my cats but they need to update their medical practices.
