| - We used the lounge during a recent trip from Edmonton down to the Dominican Republic, with a wonderful 5 hour layover in Toronto. This is the first "premium lounge" I've used; it was $64 for my wife and I to spend 3 hours here, and it was money well spent!
The biggest draw for us were the comfortable seats, and the peace and quiet. We had a late-night flight, and got into Toronto early in the morning, so we didn't need the commotion of a busy airport. We were in the Terminal 3, Domestic lounge, which unfortunately doesn't have a shower (the other lounges do), and I could have really used one. There isn't a huge selection for breakfast, but I had some toast, cereal, a few muffins (they're very small), some fruit, and some juice. They also have soft drinks, and they serve alcohol (after 11 am), which go well with the peanuts and pretzels they have.
If you're thinking about trying out the lounge, search online for some 20% off coupons. You can book online, but I'd recommend just going in when you want to use the service; they certainly weren't busy while we were there, but probably fill up later in the day.
