  • Although they bill themselves as a fine resort, this more of a second- or third-rate destination. On the positive side, it is attractive and I liked the integration of Native American design. However, the service and amenities left a lot to be desired. With the exception of Kai (their fanciest restaurant), everyone seemed to be focused on "just doing their job"; I had no sense that anyone was trying to provide a higher level of service. I think that the staff would benefit from visiting one of the other resorts in the area to see the effort and attention to detail that goes into a truly high-end resort. Their facilities are similarly modest; the pools are small and (during our visit) quite dirty. I also felt that the circles of chairs surrounding the hot tubs (clearly to keep someone from falling in and hurting themselves) were a little strange and indicative of a "just do the minimum" attitude. My lasting impression is that this resort is amateurish. I won't return.
