  • My friends and I just got back from our Vegas trip and I'm so glad we picked The Delano as our hotel! We loved the location... Close to the airport and within reasonable distance to the rest of the strip, but far enough away that you're not in the middle of all the craziness. You're walking distance to Mandalay Bay and Luxor, which are all interconnected, meaning you never have to venture outside to get from one to another. The hotel decor itself is sleek and sophisticated. Ambient music plays throughout the lobby where you have access to a cafe, lobby bar and several plush couches for lounging. I never ventured up there, but there is also a rooftop bar that apparently gets great views of the strip. The suites all include a living room with a half bath that allows for extra privacy in the bedroom. The beds are insanely comfortable and there are 3 flat screens in each room. 3! The Delano does not have it's own casino, so be prepared to head to Mandalay Bay if you don't want to go far for your gambling fix. There you'll have access to various bars, restaurants and nightclubs. You'll also have to walk through M Bay to get to the Delano Beach Club for pool access. The Delano pool is smaller with a more relaxed vibe then the M Bay pool. S-shaped pool, cocktail waitresses, DJ, private bathrooms and free lemon water. Works for me!! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to return!!
