| - Awhile back, I went for a consultation at the Eglinton Location which i briefly spoke placement, theme an everything that I wanted on my ink. After 1-2 years of waiting for an artist to do my Art, I was placed in the Pacific Mall Location.
I will not put names out in detail but their pacific mall location isn't very large, but it is very clean too.
My Artist whom wasn't very fluent in English still understood me an what I expected in my tattoo; after seeing the sketch of the ink I wanted; It was more then what i expected, he said he can improvise with the theme an add on extra stuff to what ever felt right.
Keep in mind this was my first tattoo; my expectations on pain tolerance was wavered an varied. The inking wasn't too bad an i'd rate it 6-10 on a tolerance level.
My price was decent; it was below my expectations which were good too since inking time approximate would only be 4-5h long per session.
Skill wise? every artist i noticed in the premises were very skilled an had an eye for what they love to do and that draw their hearts out. My artist was very skilled from my perspective an added a free style detail onto my ink which he didn't have on the sketch but manage to ink it onto me for the 1st session; it was really nice to know that you get what you pay for.
The way I see tattoos is, don't go for something small and just for Aesthetic look, go big or go home. Tattoos are meant to be shown and have meaning; no body should even get a tattoo of a little bird or something. If you're going for an ink, chronic ink is where it's at, free consultations too which is great, but waiting time for an actual inking appointment is VERY long an could take 1-2 years such as I have, it gives you a pretty long time span to actually think of it.
