  • West Rim Grand Canyon Grey Lines Tour: Exceeded all Expectations! I took a flier booking this tour for my son and me to see the Grand Canyon during our visit for a conference. From the moment of the first pick up, through the organized and professional check- in process it was fun, quick and thoughtful. As I have had recent ankle surgery and amusing a cane, I received very kind and considerate treatment by all including being given an easy on, easy off seat on the bus. And the moment the tour commenced with our driver--Thomas, a charmer with a heart of gold, we were in for some fun! Every aspect of the tour was engaging, educational, and with Thomas as our leader, he had us singing and making silly noises just to keep the happy energy going. We saw the Grand Canyon (Western Rim in the Hualapai Reservation), Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam with lots of local information, history and brief stops to see Mountain goats and the magnificent Joshua Trees. We learned a ton but it was so very pleasant as we handed all the decisions to our driver, sat back and soaked in the landscape, the day, and all the information. It was a delight. The sights were the initial reason for this trip, but we ended our time with our pal, Thomas, having so much more than we had hoped...and now looking at other Grey lines tours to take the next Vegas trip. Trust me, the sights are amazing...breathtaking and very special-- but wrapped in a fun day on the bus is unbeatable!
