I am a bit unsure of how to review this place. My friend and I came for massages as I had heard good things about this place. It was end of the year (December) and was hoping to use up my remaining massage credits, and was in need of a nice massage. I asked for a 30 minute massage without even checking the price and was surprised that they charge $118 for a short massage! I usually pay $125 at Elmwood for 50 minutes. Anyhow we were taken on the tour and the circuit was explained to us which was nice. I had not realized that it was female only place until I saw so many women naked or partially naked. It took me a minute to figure this out. I was initially surprised that women would be comfortable naked in front of random men until I realized there were no men to be seen. I loved the sound of the waterfalls and the temperature was quite nice in the water. I heard a few complaining that it could be hotter and that's probably true but I enjoyed the temperature and could have stayed in forever. My massage was okay. At times it was painful and I wished it would end soon and other times it was very relaxing. I truly hate getting up after a massage and would happily have a nap right after a massage. Oddly enough they take payment immediately when you arrive so I have no idea how you would or could tip your masseuse. My friend got her rmt receipt directly from the masseuse while i had to ask for it before we left. Seemed strange. Also if you want water you are well served to bring a bottle with you. I don't know how else you will get any water as there were no cups. The showers are see thru so expect that everyone will see you naked while showering. The room for blow drying hair and make up is amazing and I loved it! The locker room is a bit tight. I made the social faux pas of checking my cell phone in the changing room without even thinking. Someone nicely corrected me and right after I noticed a big sign in my locker asking me not to use my phone.... Duh! Makes sense to me.
