Pro: great view from second floor; clean establishment including bathroom.
Cons: poor staffing: for a group of fourteen (reserved in advanced with a menu of pre-selected items) we had only had one waiter. It looked like our waiter also had another big group of people by himself. Service took forever. Waiter was nice enough, but appears to be set up to fail by management.
Food: underwhelming. Costata di Manzo alla Griglia - ordered steak as medium rare, but arrived over cooked and tasted like rubber.
Vegetarian entree - Casonzei con Stracchino e Perre tasted exactly like the Pennette all Vodka that was served first. Salmone Alla Griglia was the only palatable entree.
Food appeared to be cooked hours in advance. All entrees received were barely warm. The bread was delish! So no surprise there considering this place is owned by Il Fornaio. That being said, I've eaten at Il Fornaio in Southern California in Pasadena and Irvine, but the entrees were much much better at these locations. I agree with other sentiments posted here - tourist trap with no incentive to change the quality of their food and/or behavior.
