I hadn't been to Capo's in a long, long while so was excited that our group decided to go there to celebrate a friend's birthday tonight. Once we were in and seater, I remembered why I hadn't been there in a while. The place is so dark you have to get the flashlight on your phone to not only read the menu, but see your food. They do have little lights attached to the menus but they aren't bright enough. So they know it's dark and?? Then there's the live entertainment. The music was good, it was very good, but it was SO loud we couldn't converse across the table. The food was ok, nothing special but ok. A bit pricey. The magician who went around was good but again, we had to shine a flashlight on him to see his tricks. It was a fun and unique evening but maybe it's better for the younger set? Our group was 50-62 and it was just too loud and too dark to enjoy. The secret entry is fun and the 3 tourists in our group of 5 found it unique but it didn't overcome the ultimate annoyance at spending the entire meal saying "what? Huh? Say again? Louder?" A frustrating evening.
