  • I was so excited to hear that Midwood Smokehouse just opened in Birkdale which is very close to where I live. The location gives inviting and relaxing vibes. Plenty of tables and seats, nice looking bar, TVs, fun decors, nice outdoor seating, and clean bathrooms. Food: BBQ here is one of the best BBQ places I have ever been. We always order the Well-fed combo platter between two of us and it was more than enough food. It comes with 2 sides. Our favorite sides are Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos, BBQ Slaw, and Collard Greens. My mom loves their collard greens so much that she really wants to know their secret recipe. My husband said their brisket is maybe the best he has ever eaten. The brisket was not dry and carried a mild smoke flavored. The brisket had a nice smoked ring on the meat. Tender, smokey and you can get it lean or juicy and more fatty... really incredible. Service was exceptional. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. I can't compliment this place enough! Casual but classy atmosphere with friendly staff and amazing food at great prices.
