| - Don't believe the hype! My friend recommended trying this place out since there was an online special. Funny thing is when we got there the owner didn't even know about the special so I had to pull it up on my phone, awkward! We decided to still try the place out, hindsight is always 20/20. While taking a few minutes to review the menus, the owner made sure to tell us multiple times that they closed at 2pm, it was only 1:08?!?! We ordered a spicy chicken Shwarma pita and lamb kebab plate. The owner then proceeded to say that they don't make spicy chicken, but that they can put hot sauce on the side. I agreed and said that's totally fine. So my plate doesn't come out with hot sauce...my friend goes up to the front to ask for some, to where he tells her that there's a $1.02 charge. She tries using her credit card to pay to where the guy says they can't use the credit card under 5 dollars. Lol, inconvenient right? Especially, since I had asked for the hot sauce from the beginning, he forgot, and he failed to mention any charge previously with me even though he was the one to suggest it! My friend told me about the charge, I go in and ask him about it because I had ordered it with my entrée, he then proceeds to freak out looking at the receipt saying oh I didn't charge you! I'm like "it's ok, I thought it came with the entree like you suggested". So you would think the story ends right...but OH NO, he then comes outside to where we were sitting with our two young infants. He starts yelling to me about the $5 dollar coupon and how it cuts into his margins and how i shouldn't expect him to give me free hot sauce! Granted I never expected any free hot sauce, he just never told me about the charge in the first placeand freaked out once asked. Owner is psycho, food is bland. Tasteless lamb, how do you make tasteless lamb? Pitas are cheap and you can get them better at the grocery. Cucumber salad was gross. And please, God forbid, you asked for any hot sauce!
