  • I have been to average Joe's a few times. (Ellsworth and Guadalupe )Usually my service is average. It's never super friendly but I returned for more purchases. The last two visits I encountered the RUDEST staff ever! I bought two tubes and one of them had an odd bulge. I figured "no problem" they will exchange it. Nope. I didn't realize they don't do any kind of refunds. I didn't argue. It was my mistake for. It seeing the sign when I bought them. But the kid seemed so 'put out' by my visit to the store. He was super "short" with me and seemed annoyed. So I did something. I asked him if I did something wrong to deserve the attitude. "No, I'm just in a bad mood" was the answer. Normally, my temper would have blown up. This teenage sourpuss was not going to ruin my day however. I will take my business somewhere else. I will shop online or find another bike shop.
