| - After seeing good reviews on here, I went for the wheelcakes and also got a red bean milk tea. I ordered cheese, sesame, vanilla, and green tea flavor.
Was expecting a custard/creamy filling, but the consistency was more like pudding/jello. The flavor wasn't very memorable, pretty bland.... it kind of felt like biting into flavorless play-doh. The sesame one tasted the worst; slightly bitter, tasteless jello-y paste. The best was the cheese flavor, where the consistency was more creamy and also flavorful, but nothing special. Cheese flavor was edible, the rest... felt like eating silicon. For reference, I prefer sweets that are subtle on sweetness, but this was bland.
Red bean milk tea was also very bland, not very fragrant.
It was worth a try, but once is enough for me. There are much more attractive tea/sweets shops in the vicinity.
Ps. I had to repeat my order 5 or 6 times for the the waitress (cashier) for her to understand... in the end, a more senior waitress had to step in because the original waitress just couldnt get my order right.
