| - It amazes me that there are so many bad reviews, and the actual company itself has not done anything. This is a national company with standards! (or you'd think...?)
Like many yelpers, I was here because of a weather delay. I needed something cheap, close to the airport and clean. I didn't want to cough up extra money for a place I didn't care about, I just needed a clean bed. I figured it's a national chain so I should expect something at least clean.
First I was put in a smoking room. They didn't have anything else available, so I won't default them for that. But who has smoking rooms anymore?? My suitcase and everything in it for the rest of my trip smelled like stale cigarettes.
There were, what looked like cigarette burns in the tub? A lot of them in fact. There were holes in the wall, the TV had no remote and was from the early 90's. The carpet was rippled in areas (not attached to the floor properly) and had red stains all over (I PRAY to god it wasn't blood!!)
I tried to sleep, but on top of all of that, the curtains were sheer and there was a spotlight from the parking lot shining directly into my room and lighting it up. Also, people were walking by all night being loud and I could hear everything. They could basically see me in bed too which was uncomfortable.
Also in the morning, there was a fight between a customer waiting for the shuttle to the airport and whoever was working at the front desk. I think they were both a little correct, but at some point the response should have been: "I apologize sir, but thank you for bringing that to my attention" maybe an offer to get him some coffee? Something? So the entire shuttle ride was SUPER awkward. I'm going to forward this to the corporate offices. I just don't understand why someone isn't doing something about it!!!
