| - Poor Phoenix. It's hot, there's almost no grass, and all of your sports team suck except the Diamondbacks, and even they didn't get very far. You can take comfort in the fact that your food scene is amazeballs and your tan is always looking fresh. In regards to the sports teams, it's understandable why you're housing your basketball team in an outdated arena. They're not very good, and you probably can't justify spending millions of tax dollars on a losing record. I get it. Even though I get it, I'm not going to give sympathy stars out.
The arena is centrally located downtown, so if you're staying at a neighboring hotel, it's a very easy walk. The walk inside was confusing to say the least. I went up the elevators multiple times trying to find my section. The arena seating is smaller than other arenas, but with 3/4 of the seating empty it looks ginormous.
The concessions are actually pretty interesting. I ordered a dressed up dog from the lower level, but found many other tasty options I wouldn't find other places. Beer is overpriced, but when isn't it?
I would come here again for a Suns game, as the tickets are very cheap. The arena itself is in need of repair, but it's not dire, and Phoenix probably has more important things to spend their money on.
