| - Hotel itself is large and has many amenities. Roy's, Stonegrill, lobby bar all nice (decor, service, quality). Rooms are good, not great for price. Fair amount of space, bath products just ok - very strong scent, balconies with space for 2, comfortable bed. Check in staff gave misinformation. Meeting space and facilities excellent - general session and breakouts. Housekeepers very nice and thorough, but schedulers not great. They come when we don't want, don't come when we do need service. Turn down service. Room service ok, some mistakes. Menu only attractive at breakfast, felt forced to eat out due to no good options on menu.
Got a cabana at Griffin pool. This was a great day. Staff was very attentive, drinks excellent! Cabanas have excellent amenities: citrus water, snacks, couches, TVs, fan/mister. Comes with 4 chairs and umbrellas. Pool reserved for paying guests. A LOT of people trying to get in without paying which was annoying but staff dealt with quickly. Recommend a cabana in the middle to ease this annoyance.
Warning: many pools. If you don't go to Griffin pool ($$$$), it is basically a water park during the day with kids everywhere - guests of hotel and public can pay a day fee. Lazy river nice at opening, but we felt we couldn't use it later due to overcrowding.
