| - Bouncers are straight up on a power trip. I mean, they are a lot of the time, but let's see...
We went to Vegas with a group of like 20, and we were told by our promoter to separate ourselves from the guys so that we could get in faster / for free / etc.
So we did.
But at the end of the line, we bumped into this ONE guy that we knew, and a bunch of his friends whom we had never met before. I don't even remember any of their names.
In short, basically the bouncers freaked the fuck OUT. Since we were talking to guys in line, it meant that we came with them, which meant that we wouldn't be hanging out and mingling with other guys in the club. If you talk to someone named Tila or some guy with a name along the lines of that, he is incredibly misogynistic and definitely called us cheap for trying to talk to guys -- is that not what you want? We seriously did NOT get it.
Uhhh what the fuck?? One bouncer asked us to get out of line and go to a white podium, and then another bouncer got mad at us for getting out of line. We tried to get back into line where we were, and we got yelled at. Then we went to the back of the line where we got yelled at some more. It was a mess. The girls who had originally stayed in line ended up having to pay, which sucks because none of us were supposed to.
Anyway, after almost an hour with speaking slash arguing to several incredibly rude bouncers, my friend finally played dumb and convinced one of the bouncers to let us in for free anyway. The time spent in line was incredibly sobering.
XS is overrated. Yes, it is pretty, but it's no different from Marquee or Tryst or whatever. There are a shit ton of tables, a tiny dance floor, a pool... blah blah blah. It was fun inside, but only because I made it fun. I could have had just as much fun at another club.
