I hung out here yesterday afternoon doing work. The staff were *super* friendly, and for the first time in six months I brought enough cash to buy a tin of tea - one that I had been trying to buy, literally - for months. Definitely check our their 100 mysteries tea - as it is truly filled with mysteries.
Aside from my tin of tea I had a soy mocha latte (perfectly delicious and pretty) and a lemonade (very tart which saved me from inhaling the whole thing in 30 seconds).
Altho I love the Dark Horse, and I love their free wi-fi - it's not the best place to go and do work. The workspaces are limited (pretty much only the communal table was comfortable for me) and there is only one power strip to charge your laptop on (which is not near the good workspace). This meant that I sat at the communal table until my batteries got low, and then moved to a bench and had to hold my laptop on my .... lap.
So if you are going to go work there - make sure your laptop is completely charged and leave when the batteries die. On a side note, the music was awesome - but like the Red Rocket (according to Kat) they re-played the same album more than once in a row. Meh to that.
