I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past ten years. I like it because it is not a casino. I am in Vegas for business and I simply need a clean place to sleep.
On my recent stay of three days, my room was not cleaned on the second day. I left early that morning around 7:30 and returned at 6 PM and the room had not been serviced. I called the desk and they sent the cleaning manger to my room. She immediately blamed me for the mistake, saying that I had refused service that morning. She told me that the cleaning person talked to me and I told them I didn't want the room cleaned. I informed her there was a mistake and that I had not talked to anyone. She became rude and argumentative saying I was wrong. I asked when the cleaners started and she said 9 AM. I told her I left at 7:30 so how could that conversation take place? She continued to put the "mistake" on me.
This is uncalled for. A simple "sorry we missed your room" would have been sufficient, but no, she wanted to argue and blame me, insinuating that I was lying. This is not acceptable.
Even though I have stayed at this hotel several times, it is now time to stay somewhere else. Rude people have no business when customer service is needed.
