  • I came in here a couple weeks ago on a mission to find a Panther Chameleon. I had been unsuccessful so far as most the breeders I spoke with, did not even have any in the incubation stage yet. I was very hesitant to buy one online and have it shipped to me (with only a 10day health warranty if any). I found this place online and went by praying they have what I was looking for. THEY DID! Actually, they had quite a few to choose from, reasonably priced too at $200 (They go online anywhere between $200-$600). The only downside was that they couldn't tell me what specific locale the panther chameleons where or swear by the gender. The employee that helped me informed me their panthers were most likely hybrids and did show me which ones he believed where males. I had done enough research about the differences between males and females that I agreed with him and picked a male. I put a 50% deposit down and they agreed to him for me until Monday 12/26 after christmas (About 2 weeks). I returned about a week later with my sister to finish paying for my new friend (make the pick up process easier since it was a gift) and to show my sister their store. They had baby hedgehogs on display in the front. We got to play with the hedgehogs and another employee chit chatted with us giving us all kinds of information about not only the hedgehogs but all of their other animals. They have some gorgeous guinea pigs. It was really enjoyable speaking with him. Finally, yesterday was the day to come pick up chameleon with my sister and my boyfriend (it was a present for him). Unfortunately the power was out (Not their fault. A driver ran into a pole up the street). They were packed with people (It being the day after Christmas) and although I had to wait about 10 minutes for assistance, I was reassured multiple times that someone would help me shortly. I felt bad about how busy they got NOT TO MENTION losing power and having to care for all of the animals accordingly. They gave me my chameleon without any complications and we were on our way. If you have never been to this place, you have to check it out. The employees there are super friendly and knowledgable. A joy to talk to. They have so many incredible animals to look at (many that I have never seen before). Although I already bought our new friend, I will be returning with my boyfriend just so he can see how truly awesome this place is. You won't regret visiting the Predator's Reptile Center!
