  • Fry's has good produce and great prices, but I have to knock off a few stars for bad customer service. I tried to return something and the cashier kept asking me in a snarky voice, "What does that machine (the card reader) say?" instead of just telling me to insert my payment card. Her attitude wasted my time and hers. Also, when you first walk into the store, it smells faintly of vomit ... the smell either goes away or you stop smelling it after a while, though.
