  • I'm a big fan of Dr. Heeney. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough and patient. Here's only one example: I had laser eye surgery about 15 years ago which resulted in one eye seeing blurry close up and at a distance. My old optometrist (fairly smart guy I assumed since he used to teach Cornea at U of T) said there was nothing that could be done and I accepted that for many years until I decided to try Dr Heeney a year or so ago. Not only did she come up with a solution (RGP lens) but she persisted, fitting me with different models until I had a good match. She also takes the time to explain things in layman's terms. Oh, and her dog Buttercup is adorable. Highly recommended!
