  • The Pig has a nice relaxed atmosphere and offers some great brews. The bartenders have always been great over the few years I've been coming here. Their own beers are quite tasty and they've always got guest drafts and other items on tap. This rotates regularly so you'll have a new experience often between their seasonals and the guest drafts while still having some of your tried and true regulars available. The beer garden is a great way to spend some time with friends for an afternoon or evening drink (weather permitting). Inside is also a nice place to socialize with friends (and was where I first really had that deep connection with my now-husband). The atmosphere is lively without being packed like sardines with music blaring four times too loudly to hold a conversation or enjoy yourself, which is a welcome change of pace from most bars. The prices are very reasonable and if you expect to return even with modest frequency, joining their mug club is a must. For a small price, you can buy one of their mugs and being it back on mug night for discounted drafts. This pays for itself quickly. For $5 you can purchase a growler and have it filled with your favorite that's brewed on site or bring your own growler in.
