Just returned from a two night stay. Overall, it was a nice. Contrary to other reviews, I found the staff to generally be pleasant and helpful. There are numerous pools and the waterpark is great for kids as well as adults. There was plenty of seating and shade. The food is pricey but if you order, the servings are large. The rooms are nice and clean with the exception of the carpet being a little dingy. The only disappointment was that after our first night there, our room was never cleaned the next day. We were out all day and returned around 4pm to find the housekeeping cart at the room next to ours. We wanted to shower and get ready for dinner so we put the "do not disturb" sign on the door because at that point we didn't have time to wait for the room to be serviced. Upon checking out, the clerk asked how our stay was. I told him that overall it was good with the exception of our room not being cleaned the day before unless we let housekeeping in after 4pm. His answer to me was that they have more than 700 rooms to clean.....really? That was a lousy and ridiculous thing to say. I've stayed in plenty of large hotels and resorts and have never returned to my room at 4pm to find it not cleaned. So instead of the 4 stars I would have given, I am only giving 3 stars based on not only the housekeeping issue but more so the response I was given by the gentleman at the desk.
