  • If you know me well, you know that I take my burgers seriously. This place has a banner outside naming it as the spot for Charlotte's best burger. And you know what? They're pretty darn good. I keep it simple as I always do and simply get a good ole fashioned cheeseburger with pepper-jack (I don't like my burgers fussy). I've been here three times and the burgers are consistently good, melt in my mouth, every time. The fries are also quite good....garlic or parmesan....something like that. Can't recall which but nonetheless they are quite tasty. The last time I went, I opted to get the garlic mashed potatoes in lieu of my beloved fries. Well, they brought me the fries in error. Once I mentioned that I ordered mashed potatoes, they quickly brought them to me, let me keep the fries on the house. Boy am I glad they gave accidentally brought me the fries because the potatoes we bland and boring. Needless to say, those delicious fries didn't stand a chance once I turned away from the potatoes. As for the vibe, somehow I always catch it when only a handful of people are there. It's relaxed and laid back and I like that it's not a major production. Just chill. Servers are cool too. They're not over the top in that none of them ever try to blow me away, but they are solid when it comes to service. Good spot. I might just become a regular.
