This hotel isn't bad at all. I've seen many a times of the Griswolds in Vegas, and it was interesting to see everything in person. The aquarium behind the front desk was so cool! I was mesmerized for a good while.
The carpeting in the halls looked new, impressive. It seemed like they were going for an asian-esque feel to the hotel. We had two adjoining rooms. The rooms were tiny! They each had 2 queen beds, with little walking room. I loved the decor though. It was very modern and chic. Each room had it's own plasma and a small table crushed up against the side. The bathrooms were bleh. The showers had curtains instead of the usual doors you see at most other hotels. I can't really complain, we didn't spend much time in our room.
We had a crappy view since our room was at the back end of the hotel. No cool volcano view.
Their white tigers are so beautiful. And HUGE. They draw huge crowds, but I managed to snag a spot by the window to look at one of the tiger's face up close.
I hate gambling, so I very very rarely gamble. I was walking through the casino and decided to spend a few bucks on their dollar slots. Yeah, lost that in under a minute. Never again!
Anyone watch E!? Kim Vo has his own salon here! I actually saw him walking around during the day. It was the same weekend Britney was staying here.
Their valet area is cool. On hot days, they have water misting from the top to keep the waiting crowds from dehydrating. I thought that was a nice touch. This hotel is cool, but I don't think it would be one of my top choices if I were to ever plan a trip to Vegas.
