  • "Zen Windows: High quality windows at a fair price WITHOUT high pressure." A couple of years ago my wife and I decided that it was time to replace our patio door at the rear of our house, and the picture window in the front--we just couldn't go another winter with the wind literally whistling into our house. So it fell on me to find a company that had quality products at reasonable prices. I immediately made a big mistake by calling three of the hyper radio and television advertised companies. Each of them came to our home and each made me think that we were talking about more than windows. They each said there was an extra charge for wood preparation, insulation and set up charges to custom make new windows. Sales that offered 2 for 1 meant 2 windows had to be exactly the same size in order to take advantage of the sale. Not only did they all have hidden costs, but they each tried to pressure me into making quick decisions and to place the order "NOW". Then a stroke of luck---my Angie's List booklet came and there was a pretty low key mention of Zen Windows. The company's local owner, Dan Grahovac came over. He didn't send another salesman who cared more about making a sale than doing a job correctly. The first thing Dan did was measure the specs for the patio door and the picture window and gave us 3 options of quality, price and material. We asked Dan about 2 adjacent windows and he gave us prices. We were relieved and impressed that before Dan left we had three inclusive price options. And he left without issuing any demands for a quick decision. So we made our choice---and I called Dan---and he sent the job's installer to measure one last time before the windows were ordered. Three weeks later nearly half the windows in our house were expertly replaced by Zen Windows. Fast forward to this Summer (2015). We decided to replace the rest of our windows (9 more). I called Dan--he sent out an installer who did a precise measurement of every window. That afternoon Dan sent me an email with an inclusive price, and the deal was done. Today our house looks great. I really have nothing more to order from Dan Grahovac, Owner of Zen Windows of Cleveland, but I can tell my story because I know that a lot of people, like me, want to take care of their homes. In doing so we all expect to get treated well by good people. Zen Windows delivers high quality windows at a fair price WITHOUT high pressure.
